Vendor Management - HighRoad Consulting begins by reviewing all current agency contracts and assessing the use patterns of our clients. Next, we prepare a proprietary form of agency contract to be used by the client with each agency, rather than using the agencies' forms of contracts. This form of contract contains a number of provisions beneficial to our clients, including, for example, temp to perm provisions, volume discounts, etc. We also negotiate the most favorable rates available putting to use our extensive knowledge of pay rates, bill rates, agency margins and the like and endeavor to establish preferred provider relationships with as few agencies as possible.
Recruitment Training - In today's environment, healthcare providers are faced with a myriad of issues on which to focus. Unfortunately, allocation of resources often results in too little attention being paid to recruitment. HighRoad Consulting assists its clients in developing an effective recruitment process which integrates a variety of recruitment techniques. We also train the individuals involved in candidate interaction from the initial contact through the interview and hiring process. The result is a larger, more stable, employee base and less dependence on agency staffing.
Retention Programs - At HighRoad Consulting, we work with our clients to identify "hot-button" employee issues both in the region and in their facilities. We then assist our clients in identifying and implementing positive identifier programs (i.e., programs that result in a particular employee identifying professionally with their employer) and workplace initiatives. The result is greater retention, less turnover and more fulfilled employees.
